Goodbye Blogger

Goodbye Blogger! Im sad to say I'm leaving, BUT don't fret! I will be using Wordpress to do my blogging. So good news is that you should see WAY more updates. Bad news, I wont be using blogger. Blogger was not working for me because my life is so fast paced and it did not work well with my lifestyle. I finally got tired of not being to update you all with all the photos and info I would want to, so I decided to take the plunge and switch blog sites. When I figure out how to switch my domain to my Wordpress account, you will be able to navigate to www.astrowifey.com, and it will direct you to the new blog. Miss Van Tribute Nails

I loveeeee the way these Miss Van tribute nails came out! (There is a Fafi character in there on one of the middle fingers, its of the deer character). These type of nails are so fun to work on!
I am obsessed with Miss Van, I love her art, and love the fact that she uses curvy girls in her paintings!

These were done on a 12 year old, and I have to admit I felt bad putting acrylic on her teeny hands, but she really wanted them. She loves candies, cakes, and sweets, so I did a all things sweet theme!

Arrow Tips

I did these on my main squeeze, and nail addict Jackie. I seen the arrowed tips in a nail magazine that was flicked from a fashion show (I do not remember the designer), flicked the pic on my phone, and decided to replicate it with my own spin on it. My girl decided on adding the black rhinestones, which I was a bit reluctant to do at first because I loved the simple design so much, but I actually really liked how they came out! More and more people have been requesting the pointed talon look, which i LOVE. I added some swarvoski crystals, pearls, and black diamonds to the index.
The below pics are ones I did on myself, this is pretty much exactly how the models had it in the picture, but I was inspired by Christian Louboutin shoes, and added the red on the underside of the nail. I've seen the red on the underside of the nail done before, so I do not claim credit for that idea, but I love it!

You may remember the INSA nails I did a while back, and I did these INSA and Buff Monster inspired nails a while ago also, but haven't posted them yet. This set is actually one of my favorites!

Rihanna Inspired Nails

Rihanna is a nail addict, and I always love the nails she is sporting. I did a set inspired by her pink leopard tipped nails. I didnt have the gold bows she had on each finger, so I improvised and found gold bows to put on the thumbs.
